Edit Asset

Use this page to edit an existing asset:

• Name � The designation of the asset.
• Type � The category (e.g., Laptop, Server, Phone).
• Manufacturer � The company that produced the asset.
• Supplier � Where the asset was purchased.
• Serial Number � The unique identifier.
• Location � Where the asset is currently located.
• Quantity � The number tracked together.
• Company � The entity the asset is assigned to.

You can also set custom fields, upload files, enable/disable or clone an asset.

Checked Out To: The user(s) the asset is currently assigned to. Tags: Keywords for easier searching and reporting. Tickets: Support tickets related to the asset.

The page includes a "log" with all edits history.

Deleting or Disabling an Asset

Click "Delete" to permanently remove or "Disable" to temporarily deactivate. Deleting is irreversible.

• Attachments � Attach relevant documents (invoices, warranties).
